Terms & conditions
By making a booking, attending the clinic, or receiving a consultation or treatment, you agree to these terms. They apply to in-clinic services only; we do not sell products online.
Clients
To receive services you must be at least 18 years of age, unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and expressly approved by the treating practitioner. You confirm that the information you provide, including your medical history, is accurate and complete. We may refuse or discontinue services where treatment is not clinically appropriate or where we reasonably believe you have not acted in good faith.
Prices & payment
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST unless stated otherwise. Prices may vary depending on individual assessment and treatment plan, and are subject to change. Payment is due in full on the day of treatment. We accept EFTPOS, Visa and Mastercard; cash may be accepted at our discretion.
Booking policies and cancellations
- Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment to check in and complete consent documentation. Late arrival may result in reduced treatment time or cancellation.
- New clients booking an initial consultation may be required to pay a non-refundable consultation fee to secure the booking. If treatment proceeds on the day, this may be deducted from the treatment cost at our discretion.
- We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations within 24 hours or non-attendance will result in forfeiture of any deposit or consultation fee paid.
- Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in refusal of future bookings.
- Reminders sent by email or SMS are a courtesy only.
Ethics policy
Our ethics policy allows compassionate discretion in genuine, unforeseen circumstances such as serious illness, injury or emergencies that prevent attendance. Forgetting an appointment, work or roster changes, double bookings, running late, or mild illness that does not prevent normal daily activities are not grounds for a fee waiver.
Scope of practice & consent
Dermal & paramedical treatments
Facials, skin treatments, chemical peels, microneedling, light-based therapies and other non-prescription cosmetic treatments are provided by dermal or paramedical therapists within their scope of practice. Therapists do not diagnose medical conditions or prescribe prescription-only medicines, and may refer you to a medical practitioner where appropriate. You must disclose your full medical history, medications, allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding status and previous cosmetic treatments.
Medical cosmetic treatments
Medical cosmetic treatments are provided only by qualified medical practitioners in accordance with AHPRA, TGA and Queensland Health requirements, following a face-to-face consultation with an authorised prescriber. The practitioner determines whether treatment is appropriate, safe and indicated. Potential risks include bruising, swelling, redness, pain, infection, allergic reaction, asymmetry or an unsatisfactory outcome and, rarely, serious complications. Results are temporary and vary between individuals. Prescription-only products are supplied in clinic only. Prompt medical attention may be required for urgent complications.
Refund policy
- Consultation fees and deposits are non-refundable except where required by law, and are forfeited for changes made with less than 24 hours’ notice.
- Refunds are not available for services already performed, or for change of mind, expected side effects, temporary results or normal variation in outcomes.
- Nothing in these policies excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a service is defective, unsafe or not delivered as agreed, a refund, replacement or remedial treatment may be provided in accordance with the law.
- If we cancel a treatment due to practitioner unavailability or safety reasons, we will offer to reschedule or refund.
- Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method.
