Mole & skin tag removal
Consultations for people considering the cosmetic removal of benign skin lesions such as moles, skin tags, angiomas and seborrhoeic keratoses.
How it works
These procedures are performed for cosmetic reasons only. A face-to-face consultation with an AHPRA-registered medical practitioner is required first, to confirm the lesion is benign and suitable for cosmetic removal.
If appropriate, treatment may involve radiofrequency or other techniques. All procedures carry risks, and individual outcomes vary.
Please note: this is a cosmetic service. If you have a new, changing or concerning skin lesion, please see your GP for a medical skin check.
Important information
Consultations are with an AHPRA-registered medical practitioner and include a personalised medical assessment and a discussion of treatment options, benefits, limitations and potential risks. All procedures are provided only when clinically appropriate and following a face-to-face consultation. Prescription-only treatments are not advertised and are only discussed, where appropriate, during a consultation with a registered health practitioner. Any products used are therapeutic goods included on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG).
Individual suitability and outcomes vary. This information is general in nature and does not constitute medical advice.
